Kaleidoscope

Author: Aila, Learner, while at The Integral School, Hyderabad.

We all are alone

Thought, experience, life

Little illusions

In a space so limitless, dimensionless, unquantifiable.

A small spectre of dark light and silent sound

Whispering into the realms of emptiness.

All alone.

The shell cracks, and a little bird

Peeps out into a world so new,

The only world it will ever know.

Gone.

The dusk, dawn and twilight

Pass everyday

But never are they ever the same,

A telephone ring,

A call from another galaxy,

No, don’t let me go,

Let this illusion of a kaleidoscope,

Fill my empty fears

Once more
